Dog Days Are Over song gets me dancing.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWOyfLBYtuU
I think this song is great, lots of emotion and beat.

The Dog Days Are Over .... I  first heard this song by an amazing group from the tv show Sing Off (which has had some amazing singers) Pentatonix. Well this group Pentatonix is truly  unique and well I got goose bumps listening to their performance of this song with no instuments. Florence and the Machine originally did the song. I also love the Florence and the Machines version and video so I wanted to share them both. I only recently listened to Florence and the machine and I am excited to listen to more of their work. Some new music to add to the  ipod....
Lyrics
Happiness, hit her like a train on a track
Coming towards her, stuck still no turning back
She hid around corners and she hid under beds
She killed it with kisses and from it she fled
With every bubble she sank with a drink
And washed it away down the kitchen sink

The dog days are over
The dog days are done
The horses are coming
So you better run

Run fast for your mother run fast for your father
Run for your children for your sisters and brothers
Leave all your love and your longing behind you
Can't carry it with you if you want to survive

The dog days are over
The dog days are done
Can you hear the horses
'Cause here they come
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/f/florence_and_the_machine/dog_days_are_over.html ]
And I never wanted anything from you
Except everything you had
And what was left after that too. oh.

Happiness hit her like a bullet in the back
Struck from a great height
By someone who should know better than that

The dog days are over
The dog days are gone
Can you hear the horses
'Cause here they come

Run fast for your mother and fast for your father
Run for your children for your sisters and brothers
Leave all your love and your longing behind you
Can't carry it with you if you want to survive

The dog days are over
The dog days are gone
Can you hear the horses
Because here they come

The dog days are over
The dog days are gone
Can you hear the horses
Because here they come
