Hannah Georgas - a Creative Canadian Musician the Song is Shine





Last weekend, Dave and I were listening to Stuart Maclean on CBC radio a favourtie thing to do while eating breakfast on the weekend. Hannah Georgas was the performer and well I really enjoyed her music. Another amazing Canadian singer!

Present Tense show at the Gibsons Public Art Gallery June to July 2025

 I am so excited to be part of the Gibsons Public Art Gallery show for members. Every year there is so much amazing work displayed. This year, I displayed Frida the Third a sculpture for the first time. She was the third because the first one blew up in the kiln and the second one's earring holes were too small to fit earrings. Frida third was many hours of work and joy. I am happy to announce she was bought during the show to a happy couple. I am so pleased someone loves her as much as I do. Adios my friend! Dave's Sweater is Finally Done

Having had technical problems with my computer for a month or more. I have not been able to post or add photos. So long over due is a blog about finishing Dave's Sweater. I was originally going to to knit it as a Christmas gift but then I  became amgitious to finish  it for his birthday July 6th. So with hard work I did finish it. I was working right to the last day sewing the sides together and fixing any loose ends needing finishing. I am pleased with the results, although I do want to bring the sides under the arms as they are a bit wider than I think ideal. It has been fun knitting a whole sewater as lately I have been doing small projects. I did find it hard having to adjust to the pattern and custom fitting it to his body. For example his arms are long and I needed to make them longer than the pattern. But I know that it is a good learing experience as a pattern is not made for everyone exactly so you do need to make adjustment.

Art show at the Gibsons Public Market Summer 2025- Coastal and Creative Crone Series

 I have an art show currently at the Gibsons public market from mid June to mid August. I hope you get a chance to take a look while enjoying the market.  I have two series a the market. On the mail floor I have my coast series. “Going Coastal” Going coastal is a collection of some of my art works inspired by living on the Sunshine Coast   Living on the Sunshine Coast, we are lucky to have many beaches and viewpoints of the ocean. There are many water sports or walks where you get to bask in the beauty. I enjoy kayaking, outrigger paddling, swimming, walks on the beach and the harbours, beach days, reading on the beach, hunts for heart rocks and enjoying sunsets. These are truly my favorite things about living on the coast. I find just looking at the water can be healing. I believe we can all relate to its calm energy and many delights from whale watching to eagle and heron sightings. I painted most of the paintings in acrylic on canvas. I enjoyed...
