Hope and Healing

My latest inspiration for paintings have been the birds in my yard or the forest and beach walks. I especially love all the hummingbirds. I have been enjoying painting them. I have also enjoyed playing with feather designs. I have been finding some feathers and they have inspired me too.  The smallest birds in the world have fascinated people since ancient times. The hummingbird’s interesting characteristics attract attention and make it a powerful symbol. "Indigenous people have a strong connection to nature and this is reflected in the symbolic meanings of hummingbirds. The bird carries a different meaning for different tribes, from messenger, luck, healing and energy. Creative time - Easter Theme Cards and Art

I am home recovering from my pacemaker surgery. So what better way to relax without physical exertion than some painting time. With Easter coming, I decided to do some Easter theme water colour cards and art. I am hoping to sell the cards for $5 each. I have 20 different cards. So if you are interested message me and I can Facetime with you to show you all the various designs. I can either meet you, drop off or mail items.  I am going to donate 10 percent of sales to the BC Society of Transition Houses.
