Trees


Living on the coast brings much inspiration to artists of all mediums. Walks in the woods has provided many photo taking opportunities and images to paint. It is a blessing to live on the coast of BC.

This is one of my favourite tree views in the forest. I painted it last summer.

 I love arbutus trees. They are a popular tree to paint. I think this is a kind of abstract version.

 I am so excited to be part of the Gibsons Public Art Gallery show for members. Every year there is so much amazing work displayed. This year, I displayed Frida the Third a sculpture for the first time. She was the third because the first one blew up in the kiln and the second one's earring holes were too small to fit earrings. Frida third was many hours of work and joy. I am happy to announce she was bought during the show to a happy couple. I am so pleased someone loves her as much as I do. Adios my friend! Let's play and Create! Art workshops for 2025

    I am excited to announce I will be leading some Art workshops this year in my studio in Roberts Creek. Each workshop will be 2 or so hours long. The cost is $50 including supplies plus tea/ snack depending on the activity. Each workshop will begin with a mindful moment to centre and create calm for our experience. We will start with a warm up exercise. Then we will learn some skills and practise. We will work on a piece of work that we will complete or try to.
