One flower that made my mom really happy is the poppy. She wanted to paint a poppy painting for me and didn't get a chance. Before she died, she did buy me a print of a painting of a poppy. Hence my poppy painting obsession. Last summer, I took many photos of poppies and enjoyed them in my garden that also inspired me to paint so many of them. I like painting poppies in water colour and in acrylic and trying different techniques. This has been a fun creative project.  I am posting these Hummingbird water colour paintings. I have really enjoyed painting these hummingbirds. I have hummingbirds in my yard. I feel so blessed to have the hummingbirds visit us and painting them makes me happy. I hope they make others happy too. I know how much loved these birds are to us all.  I can custom paint or take requests as well as I know how much people love Hummingbirds.   I have made print cards of this painting. I am home recovering from my pacemaker surgery. So what better way to relax without physical exertion than some painting time. With Easter coming, I decided to do some Easter theme water colour cards and art. I am hoping to sell the cards for $5 each. I have 20 different cards.
