My latest inspiration for paintings have been the birds in my yard or the forest and beach walks. I especially love all the hummingbirds. I have been enjoying painting them. I have also enjoyed playing with feather designs. I have been finding some feathers and they have inspired me too. The smallest birds in the world have fascinated people since ancient times. The hummingbird’s interesting characteristics attract attention and make it a powerful symbol. "Indigenous people have a strong connection to nature and this is reflected in the symbolic meanings of hummingbirds. The bird carries a different meaning for different tribes, from messenger, luck, healing and energy.
