Poppies

One flower that made my mom really happy is the poppy. She wanted to paint a poppy painting for me and didn't get a chance. Before she died, she did buy me a print of a painting of a poppy. Hence my poppy painting obsession.

Last summer, I took many photos of poppies and enjoyed them in my garden that also inspired me to paint so many of them.

I like painting poppies in water colour and in acrylic and trying different techniques. This has been a fun creative project. I am excited as spring has sprung and the flowers will start to bloom to give me more inspiration.

Hummingbirds

 I am posting these Hummingbird water colour paintings. I have really enjoyed painting these hummingbirds. I have hummingbirds in my yard. I feel so blessed to have the hummingbirds visit us and painting them makes me happy. I hope they make others happy too. I know how much loved these birds are to us all.

 I can custom paint or take requests as well as I know how much people love Hummingbirds.

Creative time - Easter Theme Cards and Art

I am home recovering from my pacemaker surgery. So what better way to relax without physical exertion than some painting time.

With Easter coming, I decided to do some Easter theme water colour cards and art.

I am hoping to sell the cards for $5 each. I have 20 different cards. So if you are interested message me and I can Facetime with you to show you all the various designs.

I can either meet you, drop off or mail items. 

I am going to donate 10 percent of sales to the BC Society of Transition Houses. The BC Society of Transition Houses is a member-based, provincial umbrella organization that, through leadership, support and collaboration, enhances the continuum of services and strategies to respond to, prevent and end violence against women, children and youth.
