Tiny Art Show February 2 to March 2, 2025

I am thrilled to participate in the Tiny Art Exhibit at the Gibsons Public Art Gallery this February 2 to March 2, 2025.

I will be displaying some pottery and art works.

The series is called "Spherical".

The meaning of Sphere is a round solid figure, or its surface, having a round solid shape; a ball or globe.

This work of pottery and paintings have spherical elements and formations we see in nature and on beaches here on the Sunshine Coast.

I hope you get a chance to take a look. All works will be for sale.

Summer fun inspiration 2024

I love Summer!

Coastal inspiration is never ending. I truly feel blessed to be living in this part of the world.

I have used Mixed media, acrylic and water colour to play with my summer fun paintings.

Looking at clouds and sky is a challenge and will continue to work on this. I wanted to include people as this year I have been learning to paint portraits and figures. This too is an ongoing process as all creative outlets are no matter your medium.

Tidal Pools Art show and Auction at Gibsons Market

I participated in the Orca fundraiser this year with Debbie Amaral's sponsorship which was much appreciated.

"Every year, the atrium at Gibsons Public Market fills up with beautiful artwork created by members of our community to raise funds to support the Nicholas Sonntag Tidepools Aquarium (previously Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre)."

I painted a swimmer swimming off from Gibsons landing. It was was a lot of fun painting it.

Thanks so much for the support Debbie and again appreciate being part of the these community events.

There was a time when we did this as a family for the Salmon Festival and I have many fond memories of those days.
